Terms of Service
These terms apply to pack walks, dog training, and cat sitting provided by FitPals Los Angeles (“FitPals,” “we,” “us”). By booking a service, you agree to them.
Services and scheduling
- Pack walks run Monday to Friday. Small dog group (5–40 lb) pickups are between 10:00 and 11:00 am, and big dog group (40 lb and up) pickups are between 12:30 and 1:30 pm.
- Every dog starts with an assessment walk. Please give at least 24 hours’ notice to book it.
- Social groups have a maximum of 6 to 8 dogs per handler. We place each dog in a group based on size, energy level, and temperament.
- Walks outside these windows or on weekends add a $10 fee and depend on walker availability.
- Your pet’s safety comes first. We may adjust a walk’s route or length when conditions require it.
Pack requirements
- A properly fitted collar or harness with a name tag
- Current Bordetella, Rabies, and DHPP vaccines, with recent records provided to us
- A current flea preventative
- Spayed or neutered if over 8 months old
- Friendly toward dogs and people, and able to walk on a leash
We may decline, pause, or end services for any dog if we believe it is necessary for the safety of that dog, other dogs, our team, or the public.
Equipment
Our handlers may use training leads or other appropriate equipment during pack walks for safety. We are not responsible for lost or damaged accessories such as dog shoes, bandanas, or clothing.
Payment
- Services are prepaid. Walk credits must be in place before visits. No credits, no visits.
- Invoices are due on receipt. Payments not received within 5 business days incur a 10% late fee.
- Payments are accepted through PayPal.
Cancellations
Walks
Cancellations made 24 hours or less before the visit window begins are charged the full walk fee.
Cat sitting
- More than 15 days’ notice: no cancellation fee, and any deposit is refunded in full
- 7 to 15 days’ notice: 50% of the agreed service fee
- Less than 7 days’ notice: the full service fee
Holidays
We are closed on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Thanksgiving, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, the Fourth of July, Memorial Day, and Easter. If a walker is available on one of these days, a $15 holiday surcharge applies. Presidents Day and Labor Day carry a $10 holiday fee.
Photos
We may photograph and film pets during services and share that content on our website and social media, as described in our Privacy Policy. Email us anytime to opt out.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The current version is always posted on this page.
